Marie Roberts, B.A. - Exercise Physiology/NASM/CPR/AED
Gaining mental and physical health through fitness has been an essential part of my life since I got sober 6 years ago. My life was completely unmanageable and my health was quickly deteriorating. When I realized how incredible I felt from the results of exercise; I decided I wanted to help others be the best they can be and overcome their addictions whether it be food, drugs and or alcohol. I then pursued Bachelors in Exercise Physiology and a minor in nutrition followed by numerous certifications through the National Academy Sports Medicine.
I am fully educated in how to assess and treat muscular imbalances, postural distortions, numerous injuries and or disease state individuals such as diabetics, metabolic disease, high cholesterol, cardiovascular disease. I am qualified to work with geriatrics, youth and general population.
My education has served to help my son who was morbidly obese as a teenager to turn that around as well as teach him how and what foods to eat. My son has been able to assist and teach his peers as we all know child hood obesity is a growing epidemic.
I am 37 years old and I have found my passion in helping others improve their lives through fitness. This is who I am and it is what I do. I look forward to working with you and together we will achieve anything.
